Highland Fling at Great Keppel Island in 2001

Andrew and Karen Parker are sailing Highland Fling, their 10.5m Kirie Feeling yacht all the way north from Port Phillip Bay, Victoria along the east coast of Australia departing early January 2011. Along the way they expect to catch and eat (or buy and eat!) great Australian seafood! We also intend to swim, snorkel and dive many of the offshore highlights of the East Coast upon which we grew up.
This site was inspired by and set up by Bryan Drummond who used a similar site during his and Sue’s trip north on Folie A Deux last year. Bryan spent hours assisting us at Refuge Cove and has offered loads of help since. Without his help you would be merely receiving the odd postcard!

Where are we?
The Where’s Fling page has a Google Earth map which we update as we move further north. We will endeavour to put in as much Marina/anchorage and other cruising info in as we can so that if you are planning a passage, our information may assist you. Please remember that the prices we list are as of 2011.

This is the page where we will record our cruising recipes and new food experiences.
